How does temperature affect the machining of hard guide way CNC lathes?

 

Many mechanical equipment can suffer from various problems due to high temperatures, which can affect the operating conditions. Temperature is closely related to the operating condition of hard-track CNC lathe. Specifically as follows: on the one hand, abnormal damage to mechanical components, pipe blockage and other common forms of failure will form the temperature rise of the corresponding components. Therefore, overflow is a characteristic parameter that characterizes mechanical failure. On the other hand, the function of mechanical parts is closely related to temperature. Excessive temperature will lead to a decline in the function of the parts, and even form part burnout. Therefore, temperature is also an important factor causing the failure of CNC slant bed lathe.

 

The ambient temperature of the hard rail CNC lathe should be lower than 30 degrees, and the relative temperature should be lower than 80%. Generally speaking, there is an exhaust fan or cooling fan inside the CNC electronic control box to ensure that the working temperature of the electronic components, especially the central processor, is stable or the temperature difference is very small. Excessive temperatures and humidity can reduce the life of control system components and increase the number of problems. As temperature and humidity increase, more dust can stick to integrated circuit boards and cause short circuits. Power requirements are universal, and CNC slant lathe installations in machine shops not only have wide variations in ambient temperatures and poor usage conditions, but also have a wide variety of electromechanical equipment, resulting in high vibration on the power grid. Therefore, the CNC lathe device has strict control over the power supply voltage. The fluctuation of the power supply voltage must be within the permissible range and relatively stable, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the CNC system.

 

As a highly active and intelligent machine tool, hard-track CNC lathe should be kept away from the operating environment with high vibration and the mechanical equipment that affects its vibration. If necessary, anti-vibration measures should be taken at the operation site to create a good operation site for the application of CNC slant lathe. Keep away from equipment with high vibration (such as punch presses, forging equipment, etc.). High-precision lathes should also be selected to use anti-vibration measures (such as anti-vibration grooves, etc.). Otherwise, it will directly affect the machining accuracy and stability of the lathe, make poor contact and failure of electronic components, and affect the reliability of the CNC slant bed.

 

Strict and perfect operating procedures are one of the important measures to ensure the safe operation of hard-track CNC lathes. The operator should operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures. When the machine tool malfunctions, the operator should stay on the scene and truthfully explain the situation before and after the malfunction to the maintenance personnel in order to analyze and diagnose the cause of the malfunction, troubleshoot in time and reduce the downtime.
