CNC bending machine are industrial machines that utilize standard or custom-designed dies to bend cold metal sheets into workpieces with various geometric cross-sectional shapes. These machines are typically equipped with dedicated CNC systems specifically designed for press brake operations. The number of controllable axes has evolved from a single axis to up to 12 axes, enabling the CNC system to automatically perform multiple functions including: ram depth control, left and right ram tilt adjustment, back gauge forward/backward and left/right positioning, pressure tonnage adjustment, and approach speed regulation of the ram.

This high level of automation allows the press brake to efficiently execute actions such as downward pressing, inching, continuous operation, pressure maintenance, return stroke, and mid-cycle stopping. A single setup can complete multiple bends with identical or varying angles in one loading, significantly enhancing production efficiency and forming complexity.
