Features of Gap Bed Lathe
High torsion-resistant horizontal surface bed, high-quality cast iron carefully manufactured, and the guide surface of the mid-frequency induction quenching precision treatment. The guideway vice composed of soft tape glued with PTFE guideway is wear-resistant, vibration-absorbing, and has good accuracy retention.
The spindle adopts a three-support structure, which has good rigidity, high precision, and can cut strongly. Wide range of speed regulation, can choose a more reasonable speed. It can directly turn metric and imperial threads. In addition to regular turning work, saddle lathe can also turn various flat and shaped parts. There are more complete special parts for users to choose.

Components of Gap Bed Lathe
Bed: The foundational structure that provides a rigid base for all other components and supports the movement of the carriage and tailstock.
Headstock: Located on the left end of the bed, it houses the spindle and motor, providing power for the rotating workpiece.
Carriage: A movable assembly that slides along the bed's guideways, supporting and controlling the cutting tool's movement across the workpiece.
Apron: A component attached to the carriage that contains the controls for power feed and thread cutting.
Toolpost: Mounted on the carriage or compound rest, it holds the cutting tool.
Gap: The defining feature, this is a removable section of the bed located just below the headstock. When removed, it creates a large opening, allowing for the machining of very large-diameter workpieces that would otherwise be too wide to fit between the headstock and the standard bed.
Spindle: A rotating shaft within the headstock that holds the workpiece and is driven by the motor.
Tailstock: Mounted on the opposite end of the bed from the headstock, it holds and supports the workpiece, or can hold cutting tools for operations like drilling.
