Machine Overview
The C6236D series universal horizontal lathe is suitable for turning internal and external cylindrical surfaces, conical surfaces, and other rotary surfaces, as well as cutting various metric, imperial, module, and diametral pitch threads. It can also perform drilling and oil groove pulling operations, making it a highly versatile horizontal lathe widely used for batch processing of various shaft and disc-type parts.
The lathe bed of this series is wider than that of conventional lathes, with a guideway width of 312 mm, providing high rigidity. The guideway surface is hardened by medium-frequency quenching, ensuring long-term durability.
The machine offers centralized and flexible operation, with a rapid traverse mechanism on the carriage. The single-lever intuitive operation enhances user-friendly performance.
The structural and transmission rigidity of the machine are higher than those of conventional lathes, ensuring high power utilization and making it suitable for heavy-duty cutting.
Machine advantages
High Precision and Stability:
The mating surfaces between the headstock, bed, tailstock, and saddle are hand-scraped. The entire machine undergoes rigorous testing, effectively ensuring precision and stability.
Durability and Wear Resistance:
The machine is constructed with high-strength cast iron, supplemented with copper and chromium additives. The bed guideway width of 312 mm and a quenching depth of 3 mm significantly enhance wear resistance and stability.
Efficient Lubrication System:
The headstock is lubricated using a cycloidal pump for forced circulation lubrication. This design ensures cleanliness and heat dissipation, even in hot southern climates, effectively extending the service life of bearings and gears.
High-Quality Spindle and Gears:
The spindle is equipped with Wafangdian bearings, and the spindle through-hole measures φ52 mm. The gears are precision-ground, improving hardness and reducing machine noise.
Precision Lead Screw and Nut:
The machine uses domestically manufactured lead screws and high-quality bronze alloy nuts, ensuring wear resistance and long-term accuracy.
Robust Tool Holding System:
The machine features a four-station high-strength tool post with a tool shank size of 20×20 mm.
